Overview of the impacts of introduced Salmonids on Australian native fauna

The impact of Salmonids on native fish in Australia and the Pacific region as a whole is poorly understood and little research has been conducted on the subject. This report seeks to review what research has been done on the impact of Salmonids on native fish in the Pacific region and makes recommendations for future research, management priorities and reviews the policies and regulations associated with the stocking of Salmonids in Australia.
