NSW Agriculture and biodiversity

Biodiversity is defined in the National Biodiversity Strategy as ‘The variety of life forms, the different plants, animals and microorganisms, the genes they contain, the ecosystems they form, and the interactions between life forms and the environment’. This fact sheet outlines threats to biodiversity, what is being done to protect biodiversity, and biodiversity management.
