The National Carp Task force was established in 1996 as an initiative of the Murray Darling Association. The principle aim of the task force is to provide a strong focus for local government and community participation in the management and control of carp. It also seeks a co-ordinated approach to carp management and control through research, education, information and commercial opportunities.
