Farmnote: Keeping Deer

Deer are declared pests of agriculture in Western Australia, under the provisions of the Agriculture and Related Resources Protection Act 1976. Deer may be kept in captivity in WA only under permit from the APB. Animals that escape or become feral may be recaptured or destroyed.
