A caging system for possums (Trichosurus vulpecula)

A detailed description is given of a caging system for keeping possums in captivity. The animals are housed individually in wire-mesh cages stored in racks. The advantages of this systems are listed; they include ease of handling, regulation of food intake, control of breeding, and improvements in fur quality and breeding success. (ADP)
